About Us...
Tait
Tait was born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley of Alaska. His parents came
to the Lord in 1994, after receiving counsel to read the Proverbs from a
business mentor, and Tait accepted Christ in response to an Institute in
Basic Life Principles seminar in 1999. He loves the outdoors, spending
time with his wife and baby son, real estate, and studying theology and its
application to every area of life.
Lauren
Lauren was born and raised in a second generation Christian family in
Charleston, SC, and accepted Christ at an early age. She loves being a
helpmeet to her husband and a mommy to Little Tait, organizing things,
Alaska, and enjoying the many little pleasures that God has surrounded us
with.
Tait & Lauren Zimmerman
Tait and Lauren met May 26th 2006 at an American Vision conference held
at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa, GA. Tait "happened" to
be "in the Charleston area" (800 miles away on a Vision Forum Faith &
Freedom Tour of Virginia) on another trip to the East Coast in July, and
took Lauren's family up on their offer to come visit. They saw each other
again at two Vision Forum Conferences later that year while Tait was
interning with the company. In December of 2006, Tait made a three week long
visit to Charleston, during which time he received permission to court
Lauren. They pursued a courtship for the next seven months, and became
engaged in scenic Hatcher's Pass during Lauren's and her parents' first
visit to Alaska. (For their complete courtship story,
click here.) On May 3, 2008, they
married after a 9-month engagement. On June 3, 2008, they discovered
to their delight that they were expecting their first precious baby!

Statement of Faith
- We believe in the triune God of Scripture.
- We believe that, "All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)
- We believe that personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is required
for salvation.
- We believe that the purpose for salvation is not personal benefit,
but rather the glory of God.
- We believe that implicit in salvation is one's acknowledgement of
the futility of one's own way, a rejection thereof, and a wholehearted
turning to God's ways as infinitely higher than those of man.
- We believe that sanctification follows true repentance and
conversion, and that good works are the natural product of true
salvation.
- We believe that God's Word contained in both Old and New Testaments
expresses clearly God's plan for our sanctification and growth, and that
the definition of sin is the transgression of the law of God.
