- Little Tait
y name is Tait Zimmerman Jr. and I am a little baby boy who, without the help of modern medicine, dedicated care and God's hand, would not be alive today! I was born 3 months before I should have been and am miraculously doing well today. I spent the first three months of my life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, cared for by some terrific doctors and nurses! Now my mommy and daddy have to get creative to pay the hospital, doctors and the whole team who took care of me. They have included a lot of information for you on this site about me, and our specific needs. Thank you for your consideration and support!

July 19 Update: We are still awaiting negotiations with the hospital on our $650,000 hospital bill. The original, standard reduction brought it to $340,000, and the hospital is currently evaluating it for further reductions. We are still accepting donations, which will either go towards the hospital bill, or the $15,000 in miscellaneous preemie bills, depending on negotiations with the hospital. The following is a list of the miscellaneous bills:

  Alaska Woman's Health (Emergency C-Section) $5,945.00
  Mat-Su Borough Ambulance $1,121.00
  Ophthalmic Associates $2,245.00
  Pediatric Cardiology of Alaska $5,690.00
  Alaska Radiology Associates $993.00
  Providence Health Systems $10,481.27

May 27 Update: Thanks to the blessing of God, and His working through the thousands of people who supported us, we have met our June 3 goal of $51,644 for the neonatology bill - a week early!  Honestly, we never expected to receive this much response, and are in awe of the Lord's mercy and power!
